“Award Presentation Ceremony for the Family-Friendly Employers Award Scheme 2011

03.11.2011 To promote the importance of family core values in enterprises, the Hong Kong Family Council launched the Family-Friendly Employers Award Scheme and the award presentation ceremony was held on 3 November, 2011. Apple Storage was honoured to be awarded one of the Family-friendly Employers among other famous winning enterprises in that spectacular ceremony. It is our long practice to attach great importance to employee care, as this will not only enhance the staff morale but also boost their sense of belonging. We organize staff activities from time to time for a better communication with employees, fostering a friend-and-family-like relationship with them.

“Camping for All” Volunteer Event 2011

Hong Kong Rehabilitation Power joined hands with various organizations including the Equal Opportunities Commission and the Regeneration Society to organize the two-day “Camping for All” on the Central Lawn, Victoria Park, Causeway Bay. Through having fun of “Camping for all”, people with and without disabilities could have a deeper understanding of each other, thus achieving the aim of integration. Apple Storage was happy to join the event as a volunteer. We worked well with people with and without disabilities. In the event, there were different stall games, shows and sharing sessions that aimed to promote the interaction of participants. Environmental-friendly and safe LED hydrogen sky lanterns designed for the Delivering Blessings through Electronic Sky Lanterns event were ready to launch on that evening. Nearly 200 residents wrote their blessings on those lanterns before they were launched to form twinkling lights in the sky.

Consumers’ Most Favorable Hong Kong Brands 2011

The prize presentation ceremony and dinner for Consumers’ Most Favorable Hong Kong Brands 2011 were conducted on 22 September, 2011. Apple Storage was grateful to be awarded one of the “Consumers’ Most Favorable Hong Kong Brands” by the China Enterprise Reputation and Credibility Association (Overseas). In addition to receiving the fabulous prize, our colleagues also had a great time with the magic show and the wedding gown exhibition in that majestic ceremony.

Hong Kong Airlines Flying Machine Competition 2011

The Hong Kong Airlines Flying Machine Competition 2011 organized by the Civil Aviation Department was concluded successfully. Apple Storage was delighted to be one of the participants of that competition. Under the theme “Inspirations Fly High”, all participating teams devoted themselves to the creation of brilliant flying machines aiming to fly up high the Victoria Harbour! We enjoyed very much in the process and are looking forward to participating and winning the competition next year!

Unlimited Support to the Official Launch of “Read More” Book Floating Scheme

The Read More book floating scheme co-organized by the Bauhinia Junior Chamber and the Hong Kong Sharing has been launched Officially. The scheme aims at facilitating the circulation of good books among readers, promoting the spirit of book crossing and fostering reading habits in the general public of Hong Kong. The scheme also seeks to cultivate the good practice of treasuring books, sharing, being eco-friendly and cherishing resources.

New Spokesperson for Apple Storage – Patrick Dunn

We are delighted to have Mr. Patrick Dunn to be the spokesperson for Apple Storage and star in our TV commercial. Mr. Dunn’s professional and friendly image is a perfect match with that of Apple Storage. It is our common wish to highlight our corporate mission “Heart for Heart Services”. On the day of shooting, the filming crew arrived early for preparation. Once our star had changed into glamorous look, the shooting started. Camera!

Promotional Campaign (Gold Coast, Tuen Mun)

Apple Storage held a campaign in Gold Coast, Tuen Mun to promote the concept of mini storage. Despite the hot weather, families and visitors showed keen interest in our mini storage model and souvenirs. Charity Laisee Campaign 2011

We participated in the Charity Laisee Campaign held by the Hong Kong Christian Service, by inviting each of our employees to donate one Laisee (or red packet) and feel the joy of giving in the joyful Chinese New Year. On the donation day, everyone was so excited to put their Laisee into the Laisee collection box and shared with others the warmth of the festival.
