During the Lunar Chinese New Year (01 Feb to 28 Feb 2013), the “Charity Laisee Campaign” was organized by Hong Kong Christian Service for the sixth consecutive year. Laisee giving is a Chinese New Year custom, believed to bless the givers as well as the receivers. This Lunar Chinese New Year, the donation will be used for supporting the organization’s service for socially withdrawn youth. Apple Storage has participated in the charity activity for the third year to encourage donation of red packets at its branch stores. As we gather with our friends and relatives to have a happy time in the Chinese New Year for regards and greetings, we shall not forget to concern about the less privileged in our society. May we all donate a “laisee” for charity to bode well for a good start of the year!
