With the great success of last year, Apple Storage devoted again to provide unlimited support for the “Read More” Book Floating Scheme 2012. The scheme co-organized by Hong Kong Sharing, it aims at facilitating book sharing and circulation among community, and to promote the spirit of book crossing and fostering reading habits in the general public of Hong Kong. The scheme also seeks to motivate the practice of treasuring books, sharing personal experience and cherishing natural resources.
Apple Storage has been awarded Caring Company for five years in a row. We would keep going ahead to take care of everyone in the community.
ERB 20th Anniversary Commemorative Ceremony cum the 3rd Presentation Ceremony of the “ERB Manpower developer Award Scheme” was held on 24 April 2012 at Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai. It is our pleasure to inform that Apple Storage has been awarded “Manpower Developers (MDs) – SME” in this year.
During the Lunar Chinese New Year (23 January to 21 February 2012), the “Charity Laisee Campaign” was organised by Hong Kong Christian Service for the fifth consecutive year. It is hoped that people from all walks of life will respond to the activity, and join hands with the Service members to help the needy by donating a laisee (or Chinese red packet) in support of the development of the Service. Apple Storage has participated in the charity activity for the second year to encourage donation of red packets at its branch stores. As we gather with our friends and relatives to have a happy time in the Chinese New Year for regards and greetings, we shall not forget to concern about the less privileged in our society. May we all donate a “laisee” for charity to bode well for a good start of the year! 03.11.2011 To promote the importance of family core values in enterprises, the Hong Kong Family Council launched the Family-Friendly Employers Award Scheme and the award presentation ceremony was held on 3 November, 2011. Apple Storage was honoured to be awarded one of the Family-friendly Employers among other famous winning enterprises in that spectacular ceremony. It is our long practice to attach great importance to employee care, as this will not only enhance the staff morale but also boost their sense of belonging. We organize staff activities from time to time for a better communication with employees, fostering a friend-and-family-like relationship with them.
Hong Kong Rehabilitation Power joined hands with various organizations including the Equal Opportunities Commission and the Regeneration Society to organize the two-day “Camping for All” on the Central Lawn, Victoria Park, Causeway Bay. Through having fun of “Camping for all”, people with and without disabilities could have a deeper understanding of each other, thus achieving the aim of integration. Apple Storage was happy to join the event as a volunteer. We worked well with people with and without disabilities. In the event, there were different stall games, shows and sharing sessions that aimed to promote the interaction of participants. Environmental-friendly and safe LED hydrogen sky lanterns designed for the Delivering Blessings through Electronic Sky Lanterns event were ready to launch on that evening. Nearly 200 residents wrote their blessings on those lanterns before they were launched to form twinkling lights in the sky.
The prize presentation ceremony and dinner for Consumers’ Most Favorable Hong Kong Brands 2011 were conducted on 22 September, 2011. Apple Storage was grateful to be awarded one of the “Consumers’ Most Favorable Hong Kong Brands” by the China Enterprise Reputation and Credibility Association (Overseas). In addition to receiving the fabulous prize, our colleagues also had a great time with the magic show and the wedding gown exhibition in that majestic ceremony.
The Hong Kong Airlines Flying Machine Competition 2011 organized by the Civil Aviation Department was concluded successfully. Apple Storage was delighted to be one of the participants of that competition. Under the theme “Inspirations Fly High”, all participating teams devoted themselves to the creation of brilliant flying machines aiming to fly up high the Victoria Harbour! We enjoyed very much in the process and are looking forward to participating and winning the competition next year!
